Fylde Trout Fishery has a beautiful deep 5 acre lake with clear water. Located in the heart of rural Fylde, yet only 5 minutes from the M55 motorway.

Fylde Trout Fishery was opened in 2009 and is full of hard fighting Rainbow Blue and Brown trout. The fishery is surrounded by wildlife and has been planted with native trees and hedges to blend in with the surrounding country side.

The trout range from 1.5 pounds to 12 pounds in weight.

I have fished here several times, the first two being blank so there was a gap until the third visit in May. The last four or five visits have been fantastic. Not really big bags but lots of action and hard fighting, fit fish. I like the fact that Dave, who manages the fishery, is a keen fisherman and always takes an interest in how you are doing. On one of my early blank days, I observed him land four fish within 40 min, which showed where the problem was (Me!).
This is one of the best small trout fisheries around for the intelligent fly fisherman.
